Do you have a strong interest in Japan and Japanese culture? Have you ever thought about teaching abroad? Borderlink is currently looking for creative, outgoing, professional, and flexible individuals with a genuine interest in Japan, to work as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) at Japanese public elementary, junior high, and senior high schools in Japan. The Japanese school year is from April, and the large majority of positions begin in April and May.

General working hours

Between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
(Working times vary from one city to another.)

Salary

Salaries start at 215,000 yen, and are based on experience,
language ability, and teaching skill.

***August is summer vacation in Japan, and is generally not included within the contract period. However, we do offer part-time work for most ALTs during this time, assisting with summer camps, speech competition training at junior high schools, and Japanese teacher training sessions.
