BORDERLINK, INC.(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”)has established the following policy for the protection of personal information. In light of past incidents, the importance of handling personal information during business practice has been recognized and the Company has taken a preemptive stance regarding accidents or other trouble dealing with such personal information

BORDERLINK, INC.(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”)has established the following policy for the protection of personal information. 3.Strategy
The Company believes that protecting personal information is a social responsibility that it must fulfill. The Company will implement the following measures;

(1) Collection, use and provision of personal information
  • Regarding all personal information that the Company uses, our collection, use and provision of it is done appropriately and we refrain from handling it beyond the extent necessary for attaining the specified purposes of usage or other such actions. When the Company intends to handle personal information beyond the extent necessary for attaining the specified purpose of usage, we will obtain prior consent from the person who provided the information to us.
(2) Laws, regulations, guidelines and rules related to personal information
  • The Company complies with laws, regulations and government-set guidelines and rules that are related to personal information.
(3) Security management of personal information
  • The Company implements reasonable preventive and corrective measures in relation to illegal access to personal information and leakage, loss, destruction, alteration, etc. of such information.
(4) Complaints and requests for consultation related to personal information
  • The Company quickly responds to complaints and requests for consultation related to personal information.
(5) Measures to protect personal information (personal information management system)
  • In order to appropriately protect personal information, the Company continuously reviews and improves the measures to do so.
(6) Shared use of personal information
  • All information that is provided to the Company can be used only by the Group Company solely for specified purposes to provide more valued services. All companies within the Group Company will not use personal information beyond its specified purposes.

-Confirmation Related to the Handling of Personal Information-


1.BORDERLINK, INC. (hereinafter the Company) uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • (1) For providing services including registration of dispatch employees, for personnel dispatch, introduction of personnel, and outsourcing.
  • ① Confirmation of skills and experience for the purposes of introducing employment
  • ② For employment management (salary calculation and social welfare benefits) (Financial banking information for transfer of salary)
  • ③ Securing employment opportunities
  • ④ Appropriate employment management (information on physical measurements and shoe size for the lending of uniforms)
  • ⑤ For sending documents and information related to services of the Company
  • ⑥ For contract execution and maintenance; payment, invoicing, and notifications based on the contract
  • (2) For selection and decisions on candidates during recruitment
  • (3) For education and training aimed at career development assistance
  • (4) For responding to all types of inquiries from the employee
  • (5) For creating statistical data

2.Personal information will not be provided to a third party without the consent of the employee. However, information is provided in the following cases:

  • (1) When information pertaining to skills and experience for employment among registered information is provided to the location of employment and to other locations for the purpose of employee introductions
  • (2) When resumes are provided for employee introductions, whereupon the names, addresses, and phone numbers are not disclosed
  • (3) When the social health insurance ledgers are provided to the location of employment at execution of the dispatch contract
  • (4) When personal information is provided to banking institutions for salary transfer
  • (5) When providing information to the employed location on physical measurements and shoe size for the lending of uniforms
  • (6) When copies of health examination results to an industrial physician are provided
  • (7) When obtaining and providing a copy of disability certificates to government offices
  • (8) When notification or written disclosure of required items is given to the employee in advance, and said employee grants approval
  • (9) For education and training aimed at career development assistance
  • (10) When based on law
  • (11) When there are potential threats to financial or physical well-being, or to the life of the employee or to the public
  • (12) When it is difficult to obtain the consent of the employee and when necessary for maintaining the healthy growth of children or for improvement in public sanitation
  • (13) When the country, local municipal organizations or officials who have been entrusted in carrying out business activities in accordance with the law, cooperate, and obstacles to business activities of the Company are incurred as a result of agreement by the employee
  • (14) When personal information is shared and used by a sister company of the Company for added-value, high-level services including securing employment opportunities

3.The Company uses information of a delicate nature pertaining to physical state of the employee, including copies of disability certificates, for the following purposes:

  • (1) For providing personnel services of persons with disabilities
  • (2) For determining employment and selecting candidates
  • (3) For employment reports on persons with disabilities
  • (4) For applications for employment payments for persons with disabilities
  • (5) For applications for employment compensation for persons with disabilities

4.Information of a delicate nature on the physical state of the employee, including copies of disability certificates, will not be provided to a third part without the consent of the employee. However, information on the type and extent of a disability may be provided to the following institutions:

  • (1) Job centers
  • (2) Independent administrative agencies for employment assistance for seniors and persons with disabilities

5.Personal information gathered shall be divided into mandatory items and optional items. If any mandatory items are lacking, resubmission may be requested. If items are not resubmitted, please be advised that some inquiries may not be handled.

6.The company may entrust a portion of data processing to a company that exceeds a set criteria for personal information security determined by the Company.

7.The Company may share personal information among sister companies of the same group under strict management and direction to the extent that is necessary under the following conditions for added-value, high-level services. The use shall not exceed the purposes of personal information use of each sister company within the group.

  • (1) Purposes for shared use Personal information shall be shared and used within the parameters of the following work duties:
    • ① In providing services for the registration of dispatch employees, dispatching of personnel, introduction of personnel
    • ・Skill and experience aimed at introducing employment
    • ・Labor management at time of employment (salary calculation and benefit distribution)
    • ・Securing employment opportunities and appropriate employment management (information on physical measurements and shoe size for lending uniforms)
    • ② For handling all types of employee inquiries
  • (2) Scope of information for shared use Each sister company in the group may share and use obtained personal information but, such use will be limited to what is absolutely necessary for the execution of work duties.
